Man-made materials are used everywhere these days, and the insides of beds are no exception. Using exclusively natural materials is less easy. But, when you are as uncompromising as we are, it's entirely worthwhile.
Synthetic materials simply do not breathe as good as cotton, lambswool, and calico do. And since a good eight hours of every day are spent lying on the mattress, we believe that it has to breathe as effectively as only natural materials can.
While some synthetic beds can make you uncomfortably hot, a natural Vi-Spring bed can keep you cool in July and cosy and snug in January. It's why, unlike every other bed-maker in the world, we choose to make our beds in this way.
In fact, the only material in a Vi-Spring mattress not made by Mother Nature is the springs themselves. Until we find another alternative, six turns of high quality vandanium steel will have to do.
