Mattress Springs;
1.32mm wire springs, 50mm in diameter, in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. constructed with two layers of springs.
Mattress Border;
23cm deep with four rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Horizontal handles 8 on a 150cm sizes. Air vents on all sides. Border edges upholstered with coir and lambswool. Finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Upholstery;
Upholstered with 900 gsm blend lambswool and cotton then 1,200 gsm of hand-teased loose long-stranded black horsehair, lambswool and cashmere, enclosed in a hairproof cambric cover and overlaid with a further layer of 900 gsm blend lambswool and cotton. Covered with your choice of finest quality Belgian ticking from our Collection.
Divan Construction - Viceroy Divan
The divan constructed with two layers of springs, - the top layer is 1,410 hand nested calico-pocketed springs, on top of a lower layer of heavy duty open coil springs. The Spring combination is mounted on a screwed and glued solid timber frame. The divan frame is covered with insulated wadding and the ticking case is cambric lined for added protection.
