About Vispring

Vispring is a British luxury bed and mattress manufacturer renowned for its craftsmanship and use of natural materials. Founded in 1901, the company has a long heritage in producing high-quality, handcrafted beds, and is considered one of the pioneers of the pocket spring system, which it introduced to the market in the early 20th century. Each mattress is made to order and crafted in its factory in Plymouth, England, using materials such as wool, cotton, horsehair, and cashmere—chosen for their comfort, breathability, and sustainability.

Vispring emphasises customisation, offering customers a high degree of personalisation in terms of firmness, size, and fabric. The beds are constructed without synthetic materials or glue, allowing for better airflow and durability. The brand has earned a reputation for excellence and is often associated with five-star hotels, yachts, and luxury residences around the world.

Despite its global presence, Vispring maintains a strong commitment to traditional techniques, relying on skilled artisans who hand-nest the springs and stitch the mattresses. The company promotes environmental responsibility by sourcing its natural materials ethically and designing products intended to last for decades.
