John Atkinson blankets are manufactured at the historic Hainsworth Mill in West Yorkshire using skills passed down from generation to generation. Each wool blanket is woven and hand finished by their team of dedicated experts and craftsmen who proudly produce the finest blankets in England. They blend the wool, spin the yarn and weave each blanket entirely in-house on the widest looms in the UK, ensuring a truly beautiful finish and size that no other mill can match.



The Elizabeth is woven from 100% pure lambswool, a beautifully fine and silky wool taken from the first shearing of the sheep. Lambswool fibres are smooth and delicate, producing a blanket that is cosy and soft to the touch. Available in classic white and rich champagne, with a traditional satin binding.
