John Atkinson cashmere blankets are manufactured at the historic Hainsworth Mill in West Yorkshire using skills passed down from generation to generation. Each wool blanket is woven and hand finished by their team of dedicated experts and craftsmen who proudly produce the finest blankets in England. We blend the wool, spin the yarn and weave each blanket entirely in-house on the widest looms in the UK, ensuring a truly beautiful finish and size that no other mill can match.



The Cashmere De Lux blanket is woven using 100% cashmere, one of the softest and most opulent natural fibres in the world. As well as a beautifully soft and silky feel, cashmere has superior insulating properties. It is said to be up to 8 times more insulating than sheep’s wool, keeping you cosy and warm but at a much lighter weight. Cashmere is moisture-wicking and breathable, with temperature regulating properties, meaning that your Cashmere De Lux Blanket can be used all year round.
