John Atkinson blankets are manufactured at the historic Hainsworth Mill in West Yorkshire using skills passed down from generation to generation. Each wool blanket is woven and hand finished by their team of dedicated experts and craftsmen who proudly produce the finest blankets in England. They blend the wool, spin the yarn and weave each blanket entirely in-house on the widest looms in the UK, ensuring a truly beautiful finish and size that no other mill can match.



The traditional North Star is woven from 100% pure new wool to produce a blanket with high durability and warmth. Pure new wool has superior insulating properties. Hand finished in colour coordinated satin binding to either end for a stylish finish.
